All of these nouns are singular, right?
这些名词都是单数，对吗？就是一个人或者是一个东西。
It"s just one person or one thing.
So the words "each" and "every" can be used with singular nouns that are part of a group but there is a subtle difference.
所以呢，‘each’和‘every’都可以和单数名词一起使用，作为一个群体中的一部分，但是还是有细微的区别的。
当我们使用‘each’的时候，强调的是，或者是说更加关注个体。
When we use "each", it emphasizes or it puts more attention on the individual. The one person or the one thing.
一个人或者是一件事物。每个来参加晚宴派对的人都带了一道菜。
Each person who came to the dinner party brought a dish. More than one person came to the dinner party.
不止一个人来了晚宴派对。其实呢，有一群人来了晚宴派对。
In fact, there was a whole group of people who came to the dinner party.
But each singular individual person bought a dish or a plate of food to share, right?
但是每个单数的个体都带了一道菜或者是一盘食物来分享，对吧？
他带了一道菜，她带了沙拉，他带了一些芝士和饼干，对吧？所以每个人都带了点东西。
So he bought a dish, she bought dessert, she bought a salad, he bought some cheese and biscuits, right?
So everyone has brought something. Now let"s compare this to "every".
