She told/asked the children not to make so much noise.
再比如：
"Stay to lunch," he insisted.
He insisted that I should stay to lunch.
"Come with me," he suggested.
He suggested that I should go with him.

本课学习的是虚拟语气的用法，侧重学习针对过去时间的虚拟。试比较：
If you went to the exhibition, you would enjoy it. (针对将来时间)
If I were in your position, I would act differently. (针对现在时间)
If you had not hurried, you would have missed the train. (针对过去时间)

本课学习的是情态动词must、have to、should和ought to的用法。如：
I must leave now.
