During the Qianlong period, porcelain was as famous as Kangxi and Yongzheng, which was called "the three dynasties of Qing Dynasty". It was a period of great success of Chinese porcelain, and also a primary period in the history of porcelain industry in Qing Dynasty. In the Qianlong period, because of the emperor"s love and the imitation of ministers and officials, special manufacturing offices and supervisors were set up. On the basis of inheriting the porcelain craft of the Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty, they studied and innovated, and even spared no cost, so that the exquisite porcelain was more widely used in the court life.
The cornucopia is concave in shape, like a bowl or a pocket. It can attract wealth, gather energy, and generate wealth. Therefore, coins, copper coins, Yuanbao, amulets and other auspicious items can be put in the cornucopia. The porcelain body gilt silver cornucopia was used by princes, nobles, merchants, rich gentry to collect wealth and treasure during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. It is a rare collection with high artistic appreciation, collection value and investment value.
