探索 " 玩 " 在数字设计领域的运用

阿卡裴迪·阿拉提 Aarati Akkapeddi
阿卡裴迪·阿拉提工作于纽约，印度裔美籍，跨学科艺术家，教育者及程序创新者。 获 得 帕 森斯 学 院(Design& Technology)颁发的艺术硕士学位，同时也是 The NewSchool 的兼职教师。她专注于诗学和政治学的数据形集。她通过不同方法收集，维护与呈现数据，私人与机构的归档法，来探索针对其特性以及对历史性的描绘。在研究中她结合了计算机分析以及程序模拟，来探索科技技术具备的连续性以及持续结构的多种可能性。目前阶段，她正在通过对家庭照片的搜集，维护以及分析法进行文化内涵的研究。
Aarati Akkapeddi is an Indian-American cross-disciplinary artist , educator, and creative programmer based in New York.She has her MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons and is also an adjunct faculty at The New School. She is interested in the poetics and politics of data sets. She works with both personal and institutional archives to explore the ways in which identities and histories are shaped by different ways of collecting, preserving and presenting data. She combines computational and analog media in order to explore the ways in which technology has and continues to perpetuate structures of power. Currently, she is investigating the cultural implications of the collection, preservation, and analysis of family photographs.
