红山文化主要分布在我国北方辽河流域，及周边的广大地区，距今约 6500
年左右。据考古发现，红山文化的早期，源自距今 8000 年左右的兴隆洼文化。

and the surrounding vast areas, about 6500 years ago. According to archaeological
ndings, the early Hongshan culture originated from Xinglongwa culture about 8000 years ago.
