中国共产党是为人类进步事业而奋斗的政党。中国共产党坚定维护中国主权、安全、发展利益，绝不会吞下损害国家利益的苦果，同时始终把为了人类作出新的更大贡献作为自己的使命，致力于为促进人类进步发挥大国担当。中国对世界经济增长贡献率超过30%，是联合国会费和维和预算第二大出资国、安理会常任理事国中派出维和人员最多的国家。中国的发展拓展了发展中国家走向现代化的路径。中国坚决反对霸权主义和强权政治，倡导国际关系民主化法治化，推动构建人类命运共同体，为减贫、应对气候变化等全球性问题提供了中国智慧、中国方案，作出了中国贡献。
Third, the CPC is a political party dedicated to the cause of human progress. The CPC firmly upholds China"s sovereignty, security and development interests, and will never swallow the bitter fruit of undermining national interests. At the same time, it always takes making new and greater contributions to mankind as its mission and is committed to fulfilling its responsibility as a major country to promote human progress. China contributes more than 30% to world economic growth. It is the second largest contributor to assessed contributions and peacekeeping budget of the UN, and the largest troop contributor of peacekeeping operations among the permanent members of the UN Security Council. China"s development has broadened the path to modernization for developing countries. China firmly opposes hegemonism and power politics, advocates making international relations more democratic and rules-based, promotes the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, and contributes by offering Chinese wisdom and solutions to global issues such as poverty reduction and climate change.
