中国中央政府高度重视台湾同胞的健康福祉，在符合一个中国原则前提下，已经对台湾地区参与全球卫生事务作出妥善安排。截至4月28日，中国中央政府已累计向台湾地区通报疫情信息386次；过去一年，中央政府批准台湾地区公共卫生专家44批共47人次参加世界卫生组织的技术活动。台湾了解有关信息、参与国际抗疫的渠道是畅通的。美方所谓“严重卫生关切”的说法完全站不住脚。我们奉劝美方停止借世卫大会炒作涉台问题。任何打“台湾牌”、搞“以台制华”图谋必将遭到国际社会绝大多数成员的坚决反对，注定以失败告终。
The Chinese Central Government attaches great importance to the health and well-being of our compatriots in the Taiwan region, and has made proper arrangement for Taiwan’s participation in global health affairs on the precondition of following the one-China principle. By April 28, the Central Government had given the Taiwan region 386 updates about the COVID-19 situation, and over the past year, it approved the participation of 47 public health experts in 44 groups from the Taiwan region in WHO technical activities. The channels for Taiwan to obtain information and participate in the international COVID-19 response are unimpeded. Theso-calledserioushealthconcernoftheUSisuntenable.We advise the US to stop exploiting the WHA to play up Taiwan-related issues. Any attempt to play the “Taiwan card” to contain China will be firmly rejected by the overwhelming majority of members of the international community and is doomed to fail.
