据兴隆洼遗址考古发现，该遗址清理出古代房址 170 余座。大部房址前后
排列有序，并呈现出西北及东南向分布。试想，如果一处房址住三个人，那么
这个部落最少也有 500 多人，甚至更多，男女老少，吃喝拉撒，再加上安全，都是大问题，这就必然要有人领导，有人管理。
According to the archaeological discovery of Xinglongwa site, more than 170
ancient house sites have been cleared up. Most of the house sites are orderly arranged
in front and back, and show northwest and Southeast distribution. Imagine that if there
are three people living in a house, there are at least 500 people in this tribe, or even
more. Men, women, children, eating, drinking and Lasa, plus safety, are big problems, which must be led and managed by someone.
建 170 余座房子，在当时更是个不小的工程。如果没有人领导指挥，没有
一定的组织结构，完成这样的工程，是不可能的。如派哪些人专砍树收集建材； 哪些人负责挖土建房；哪些人负责生火做饭；哪些人负责保卫等等。
