and he just moved back home from Atlanta.

He does not feel comfortable going back to their church,

because he doesn"t feel welcome anymore after coming out as gay.
就目前看来 返乡节也不会去了
Or even the homecoming, for that matter.

The Church is what I feel alienated by, not God.
