在符合一个中国原则的前提下，中国中央政府对台湾地区参与全球卫生事务也作出了妥善安排。据不完全统计，2020年以来，中国台湾地区医疗技术专家共参加了16次世卫组织的技术活动。台湾地区还设有《国际卫生条例》联络点，拥有登录世卫组织事件信息网站的账号，能够通过信息网站、每日疫情报告等渠道及时地获取世卫组织发布的突发公共卫生事件信息，也能够及时向世卫组织通报。经中央政府同意，世卫组织秘书处还三次专门向台湾地区卫生专家通报了疫情。台湾地区也加入了“新冠肺炎疫苗实施计划”。台湾地区专家多次参与了世卫组织免疫战略咨询专家组会议，及时充分地获取了新冠疫苗的有关信息。 Based on the one-China principle, the Central Government of China has made appropriate arrangements for Taiwan"s participation in global health affairs. According to incomplete statistics, since 2020, health experts in Taiwan have participated in 16 WHO technical activities. There is an International Health Regulations Contact Point in the Taiwan region. Taiwan also has an account to log onto the WHO event information website and has timely access to WHO information on public health emergencies through the website and the daily updates. It can also report incidents to the WHO in a timely manner. With the approval of China"s Central Government, the WHO Secretariat notified health experts in Taiwan three times of information about COVID-19. Taiwan has also joined COVAX. Experts in the region attended multiple times WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization meetings and got timely and full access to COVID-related information.
